I finally got one whole, I cant believe this one hasn't broke (yet)
Got out there early today in my field of broken points. Almost missed this one, just happened to turn around and look down where i just stepped and seen its base sticking out. I flipped the clod off it and almost &&&& myself, did a happy dance anyway. I couldn't believe that this fragile little point with a long thin body like it does wasn't broken. I have probably found twenty broken points in the last two days if not more. This looks like a nice one, I looked at the books I have but dont know what it is. Please can someone ID it for me
it is almost 3 3/4 inches by 1 inch wide. Moniteau Co, Mo. It kinda looks like a Sedalia but not with a stem base. Im to knew to this to start Id'ing. I need your help.......
I went back this eve and walked a hour or so and found some more brokes and a real heart breaker, a drill, its snapped off, oh well someday Ill find another. My camera went dead on me so I'll post pictures tommorow. Thanks for letting me share my finds with you. JYD...
