I FOUND A CACHE!

[HEAVYMETALNUT]

of dog tags 10 heart shaped ones all in the same hole dated 1929.3 others a few inches over 2 broken and one square one dated 1939.
But,the cool thing i did find was a WATERBURY CLOCK PAYCHECK.I dug one last year in this yard and thought to myself how many people lost their paycheck work tag and i must be lucky to have just one, especially when the curator at the clock museum has never even seen one.now I have a pair of them for my collection.also a neat EL -POL TAN cigar cutter and a good luck thing.when i tried to open the back it just crumbled

A Cache is a Cache Dave. Those should look really good displayed together. HH, Q.

The little mailbox is interesting as well. Don't recall ever seeing similar.

Now that I look again - the "Good Luck" box is a dime or token bank. Did you look inside?

honestly that's what i figured it was with the slot on the side i pushed a clad dime into it.while trying to open the back it just crumbled to pieces

Hey Dave,

Congrats on finding the 10 heart shaped dog tags . . . very cool!
But, the WATERBURY CLOCK PAYCHECK tag is certainly my favourite of your finds! .
I've never heard of a paycheck work tag before, they must be worth some money to collectors!

No sign of my letter yet eh?
I still want that piece from you, I'll send you off another letter in a week or two!
Dave
