Does it say Pyrex on it? Lip looks to be cut off, may have been broken at some point

Looks like a large demijohn....can't tell if it has much age to it by the pics

No embossing at all the lack of bubbles lead me to think it might be pyrex as well as the feel. The 12" neck is what's throwing me off. It's all of a half inch thick. I don't believe its antique old but I do think it's older than me. I'm 49.

Was it possibly in a milking barn? Maybe a milk collection bottle? Glass is easily sterilized as compared to a metal or wooden bucket. Like an old pasteurization bottle.

Can anybody help me out with this bottle? I believe it's pyrex and 12 gallons. It stands 30" tall, 16" wide The neck is 12" . It weights almost 30 lbs. No markings. The thing is massive. Any help would be appreciated. A value also if possible. Thanks.

Found it in an old abandon barn.
Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Due to the size, it was possibly a brewer’s firkin. The size was loosely interpreted: 10.9 gallon to 12 gallon range generally. This equaled 1/4 barrel of beer, at one time.

That's one possibility among a few.
