I found a wall full of these in my secret hole.....what is their proper name and are the valuable?

Again, it is iron pyrite, or "fools gold". Might have a small value as specimens but much larger ones are found which get more specimen dollars, and iron pyrite is fairly common.

Again, it is iron pyrite, or "fools gold". Might have a small value as specimens but much larger ones are found which get more specimen dollars, and iron pyrite is fairly common.

It is a shame that Pyrite is generally only used for starting fires (i.e. struck with another hard metal to produce a spark) and at one time was used as a replacement for Flint in Flintlock firearms! If some beneficial and substantial uses could be found for Pyrite, then the O.P. could have a valuable find.
