You did right well. Nice rosie and wheat.... I know how you feel with your neck hurting. I have 3 fused vertebrae in my neck. Hang in there

Nice silver
Good to see someone else besides me digging lots of trash too ;D

A bucketful of trash paid off for ya....Makes you want to go back for more! HH jgas

We all dig our share (and sometimes more) trash, but when the silver shows up......it makes all the sore necks and trash worth the effort. Congrats on the finds. Gold Nuggets :icon_jokercolor:

If I read this right and my eyes don't deceive me you said you found a 1943 copper wheat? Please if you can send a picture of the face of the coin with the date showing. If it is what I hope it is, for your sake you have the find of a lifetime!

lol.....loved the narrative. congrats on the finds and hope your neck feels better.... :icon_sunny: tlc HH

See if that '43 wheat sticks to a magnet...if it doesn't you got a real gem there.

Savant365 is right, all but a very few '43s' were made of steel because of WWII. Copper was at a premium because they used it for shell casings and wire. If it is a 1943 copper get it verified by a numismatist. We're probably talking over a million here maybe more!

Bummer...I was hoping you had a good retirement plan there. Keep looking, you never know what you might find out there :happy3:

I've been watching to see how the 43 turned out. Sorry to see that it wasn't a 43 after all, bummer!

Been havin' my eyes open for a '43' copper since I was knee hi to a metal detector. Sure was rootin' for ya! Oh well keep diggin' it might be in the next hole!
