I didn't know about those new cents. I'm still looking for one of the new Lincoln cents issued in 2009. I've yet to see one. Where are they?

Nice in another 100 years someone will be showing on T-Net a 2010 shield penny they dug for 8.95 you can get 2 rolls of Shield Penny Proofs from the US Mint Dd60

I like the shield design. No-one else I know seems to...but I like it. I can't wait to find one in some change one of these days.

I was born in 1960, a few months after the Memorial Cent was first introduced. My entire existence has only known one penny, the Memorial Cent. I have seen it change in composition, but until now there was no major redesign. The new design represents a turning point in my life, hopefully for the better.
