I got the new (not yet released) White's super 12 coil for the DFX

Just got this new coil tonight at my MD meeting. I looked all over and haven't seen any mention of it at all. I was told that the dealers were all offered only one so far. I cant wait to take it out tomorrow. It is 12", kind of a round spider web style coil. Very light weight, and Todd Marshall at White's says it is getting 2" to 2 1/2" better depth on coin size targets. I will do a review when I have used it a couple times.

Just got mine on Tuesday. Immediately went home, put it on my DFX and re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-checked my back yard...........zing Ahhhhh.....just a real deeply buried beer can that the construction guys hid when my house was built 20 years ago.... But....you never know. It was down about 9-10".

Still, I think it was worth the money.

Make sure to keep us updated. The biggest reason I got rid of my DFX was because I could not get the depth I needed to get those deepy coins in my mineralized California soil. I just bought an Explorer SE and am very happy with it so far but if I can get another 2in from a DFX I would consider getting another as a back up machine.
