i got this sword, i think it's a fake but...how old is it ?

i got this interesting sword. i don't know much about it but even if it's a replica of something it still appears pretty old

I have one exactly like that. I paid $1.00 for it at a home decor store that was going out of business
in the late 1980's.

Thanks for posting. Does it have any readable markings to indicate the manufacturer?
