What's new

I haven't been on here much Lately.

Went in for my procedure this morning. No stents or anything put in and I am already home. BUT, I have to go back August 7 for a triple bypass! My heart muscle is in great shape but the 3 main arteries on it are blocked, one is 100%
I have to start some new meds for two weeks and have some more tests to be run That is why the surgery isn't being done sooner unless I have a bad attack and go to the ER. They will do it then.
At least now that it is identified, it can be fixed. It's the unknown, sneak attacks that will get you. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Riskier than heart catheterization, but the odds are still greatly in your favor. Open heart surgery is a serious operation, but definitely survivable. I had open heart surgery in 1967 when I had two heart valves replaced. I was only 5 years old at the time. Almost 59 years later and I'm still kicking! Good luck with your surgery and recovery.
