I hit the three “B’s” at lunch - 3/24

Not having much time to diddle around at lunch, I headed straight for the horse pasture where I found a lot of my keepers lately. It turned out to be a wise decision.

My first keeper was a low tone that turned out to be a cleaner bullet at about 8”.

My second hit was at about 5” and I about soiled myself when I saw the round object with green patina. I was hoping it was a coin, but it ended up being a flat button with a “Gilt” back mark.

My third keeper was deep (about 10”). I kept digging and digging thinking it would be a piece of rusty iron. I’m glad I kept at it as I was surprised by a neat decorative buckle.
It has gold gilt still on it and a bit of weight too. Not the best of shape, but a great piece for my relic display.
Any idea on the age? Could it be CW or too fancy?

So there you have it, the three “B’s”- bullet, button, and buckle.
Not a bad lunch.
