Now I know why I waited till now. If I sell a $10 book amazon gets about 35%
I will never say feeBay again.

I have been reading about selling on amazon and that the same item usually goes for more on amazon. but with such high fees I now have 2nd thoughts.

Amen. That sounds like a consignment shop!

Wow... talk about taking a pound of flesh...

With my recent troubles on ebay (thankfully resolved in my favor with minimal hassle), I was seriously considering checking out Amazon. Does Amazon take 35% of every transaction? Or do they take a fixed amount and it was a high percentage of this item because it was a relatively low sales price?

A pound of flesh and some skin and bones too!
That's crazy! I'll wait for someone who sells there regularly to chime in on this one. That just sounds insane. More than the local auction house. Surely this isn't the norm?
