I made a Mini Scuba Scoop......!

I have been increasing frustrated with carrying a large scoop while MD'ing on Scuba, so I bought an aluminum scoop off Amazon for about $6.
Drilled some holes and now I have a hand size scoop that will fit into my BCD pocket
I think it will work well with the fine powder sand we have here, but maybe not so good in more silty areas.

Tried that - the sand is too fine here - just falls back in with anything deeper than a few inches. so need to scoop out that target!

Works for me!

Now to see how it performs in deep sand, but glad I don't need to be carrying a big scoop at 40ft!
