Yea im 14 from Georgia i think the tv shows on gold mining gave me gold fever. So I'm working on my own sluice box to try out when the weather gets warmer

I hate to sound like an old duffer, but you young guys are lucky, with all the mining information at your fingertips. When I was your age it was the library, and there isn't much gold mining info in Ohio Libraries.

Take advantage of the modern resources, this site is a great place to start. Good Luck.

That's how it was for me. Other than the perpetual loss of freedom and overbearing regulations. These younger guys are so very lucky to have technology like the internet.

Yeah, coin and relics are my thing. But i love to fossil which ive been doing for almost 10 years now, so i'm an expert with a sieve

What I don't like, however, is that many older folks think I'm incompetent. Not necessarily here, but most nearly everywhere I go.
I try to convey differently, but sometimes I may get out of hand if I'm especially livid about something, like detecting being banned in my county...

Howard County, Maryland. I still go to parks, though. Nobody seems to mind, and they cannot tell I was there after I'm gone.
