Hey just got off the beach in Ocean City NJ. because I heard thunder. Already raining on and off, but not messing with lightning. On my way to the street I see one of the life guards I have known since he was a little kid. Naturally he asks did I find anything good. Then he tells me to be careful. Would you believe they detonated what was reported as a bomb about 20 blocks from where I was right on the beach last night. Police are not saying what it was or even if it was a bomb. Can you imagine digging up a bomb on the beach? Then the Guard also tells me a sneaker washed up at Corsons Inlet beach with a severed foot inside. This season dealing with syringes, dead bottleneck dolphins, jellyfish, now bombs and parts of bodies. I am moving!!!!!

Which planet will you be moving too?
Unexploded ordinance from as far back as the civil war still washes up on the shores after storms.
Lots of nasty stuff, especially WWII out there waiting to break loose...
Oceans, rivers, lakes are the favored dumping grounds, to get rid of legal and illegal things{bodies, weapons, every day trash) for eons. Besides manmade contamination, there are also red tides which kill dolphins. If they are bottle nose they most likely followed the Gulf Stream, just as the plumes of oil from the rig blow out. Also the fish they eat made of been contaminated by red tide “Bone Appetite”.
Most syringes which wash up on the beach are the result of improper disposal of sharps from medical facilities. I would be more scared of fresh drop by drug abusers.

well don't come to Florida...ever watch those real cop shows...many filmed here..there is a reason! lol

was it an old bomb or a homemade one? ( wonder if the nsa just got me flagged for this?)

I am sorry I took for granted everyone would know what I meant. It was some kind of device left on the beach. Word around the diner is it was one of the life guards put it there or had it with him.

haha, we always predict the nieghborhood on first 48 lol : ) .... and the miami detectives with there little shot glass coffees, always complainin...love that show, but yea fl looks freakin nuts

not many feet wash up on Indiana beaches

Dont come to Georgia !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tybee Island has a missing A bomb in the bay

Last year I was stopped on A1A ( road following beach line) to a dead halt, so the military could detonate an old WWII depth charge. It washed up on shore in a nice upperclass vacation area. At sea for 70+ years. I was quite supprised at the percussion waves it made. Deffinately an experience I will remember.
