i need help with this halo thing

I'm confused what does the hobby of metal detecting have in common with a popular PC game. I ve played the game numerous times but have no luck finding any clues about metal detecting.
My finds ratio havent increased either

please help

Are you playing Halo 1, 2 or 3?
Obviously the halo effect increases exponentially.. perhaps you haven't played on the Legendary difficulty??

obviously your not reading the manual!

if you place the game cd in the microwave and cook it for about 3 minutes the halo will transfer from the cd to the glass plate in the microwave. as an added bonus if you stick around to breathe the fumes, little winged guys with halos over their heads will come meet with you. downside is your significant other will throw all your stuff away once this happens.
