I officially love the "Beast"
For those of you who don't know and who care (not many of you I know
) I knicknamed my Explorer II the Beast.
I took my kids to a local elementary school that has a really nice tot lot for them to play in and took the Beast along for the ride. Got one more hour in with it.
I found my first political item today, it is in bad shape but it is what it is. A campaign button!!
I also found my favorite item of all time to find (except really old coins and silver) a zipper pull, one made by Adidas
!!
Not much clad but I did dig a 1961 penny at 10 inches! How do I know it was at 10 inches, because I measured the hole.
This area has been covered really well be Baldingboy and Wheels73 so I only found two surface coins.
The other non-metal items are of course eyeball finds.
Thanks for looking, sorry there isn't more.
