I didn’t have much time today so I went detected for about an hour so I think I’m on to something because I found all these shards Of pottery and what looks like a tusk and a religious pendant at 14 karat. I think I’ll be going back tomorrow folks. Appreciate you looking

I love that Miraculous Medal. I have found a few, but none that appear to be gold. Congrats on a great hunt.

I found lots of silver religious crosses and pendants but I’ve never found a gold one you can see the loop is gone were they lost it. Lucky me

I think it might be a Catholic "miraculous medal" commemorating Catherine Labouré. If so, 1830 would have been the date Labouré supposedly had a vision or something but not the date it was made.

If it's gold that's a pretty awesome find!

It was in another Shell Mound but they were probably these boards back then. And yes the shot here very often the problem is they they and have up to eight babies. We call them illegal aliens LOL
