"I plowed the farm today"

My usual farm spot turned up another assortment for me today.
*Asst'd old shotgun shell heads, two small casings, and some lead pieces.
*1939 & 1944 wheat pennies.
*A 1948 "Fort Dodge" vaccination tag. I think Fort Dodge is in Iowa, so this dog had a loooooong walk to get to NC.
*A red convert. Tootsietoy in one piece with all 4 rubber wheels still. 1940's ???
*A busted up Greyhound Bus with the two little plastic gem like tail lights still attached. 1940's???
* A bell in wonderful shape. It's heavy. Brass?
*An unknown heavy old brass piece (in picture below the bell). Any idea what this is?
*A gold leaf, possibly from an earing?
*2 more rose tags.
*2 more buckles.
*A small (about 3") metal toy wheel.
*Clock piece.
This may be my last post for a few days. :( My back is killing me and I need a manicure! ;)
Thanks for looking.
Happy hunting this w/end folks,
MM

Guess your sick of me saying how cool your finds are?

If your not then those are sweet finds as always-good assortment of relics there!

Have fun,
Salvager

Salvager,
No way am I tired of hearing that. ;D It makes my sore back all worth it.
Hopefully I ca uncover a good coin or two before I finish the 164 acres. :o
I wondered into a different part of the woods out there yesterday, and found a very cool rock grouping with a small waterfall. I'll be getting some pictures of it next week, and doing some detecting around the stream there. Hopefully I can hit on some CW era items around there. I figure if there was some CW activity at this farm property, the horses and men had to have water.
Thanks again,
MM

Re: "I plowed the farm today"

MM, in the photo with the bell,on the right side.I think that may be a bell off of a old wind up clock, the kind where there are two bells on top,or maybe a bell off of a old wind up telephone.Hard to say, just by the picture ?
Now,for your sore back,go to Southern States and get a bottle of horse liniment, fix you right up !! Can't have you sore this weekend, party hardy ;D
