I shipped a bunch of car radios out on the 19th priority and the arrived today 7/2 a whopping 150 miles it had to go. Before it got there I checked with po they were clueless and said wait a few days it might arrive. They didn't see any scanned info after they scanned it. Guy gets it today and 3 of the radios are missing, the real good ones he wanted. And to boot he is pissed at me. What should I do. can I get money from usps for the late delivery and missing radios. The funny thing just today more info showed up on the tracking info. What happened between first scan and today.
Thanks for any input.

I believe priority has 50.00 free insurance on every package

Sounds like a Shady customer to me. We ship hundreds and hundreds of packages every month and it's all precious metal. I've never had a package tampered with by usps.

I hope this gets resolved ...

I agree. If the package was damaged or opened it would have been marked as such also. Ask for photos to start with.

PS- Top rated sellers get up to $100 free insurance on priority.

Unlikely that USPS tampered with it, especially what seems to be a big package. Check the buyer's feedback, even the positive, and see if anyone left evidence of shady behavior in the past. There are a lot of "100%" buyers with damning notes in the "positive" feedback.

Anyone who immediately acts aggressive when they receive their item (regardless of there being a problem) earns major creep points in my book. If there is ANY evidence pointing toward this buyer not being on the level, I would stop responding to him (anything you say can and will be used against you...), report the buyer, and wait to see what happens. The great thing about scammers is that they tend to give up if they have to put forth any actual effort.

I second this. All of my packages are PMs, about 200-300 per month. Never once has USPS damaged, tampered, or lost a package domestically.
