I've hunted this house for about a month ,the home owner clears brush and i keep finding relics.
so far i've dug about 18 bullets, some pictured others i gave to the home owner.borman cannon fuse.
small buckles .Iron objects( not pictured) & square nails. But can't seem to find a button. The hunt area
is a about an acre.

thoughts & tips welcomed,

thanks for viewing.

Dang, Randy! :o Looks like something went on at that site! As usual I'd say just go VERY slow. Maybe you'll get a few nice buttons too!

With the "blown" fuse and it look's like a couple of the minie's have been fired I'd say something definetley went on at that site Randall. The field's I hunt around here I turn the disc. pretty much all the way down and if it's an iffy signal or give's me a good reading for a split second I'll dig it.....9x out of 10 it's a keeper.Moving around the target in a circle help's too for me.Look's like you're just starting to clean house at this place.....Best of Luck and Congrat's

Nice finds. The item in top pic on far left, looks like a boat motor prop.

I didn't see anything that would make me declare it Confederate, but it is definitely civil war. Now where is the main part of it. Sometimes small spots can be picket posts. That would make you think a larger camp is nearby. But hunt every part of you can and like was mentioned earlier, go slow. I'll bet a button pops out before you are done. And if you need any help, my phone number is..............
