What's new

I thought it was a George Washington button at first.

But after looking at the pictures I have come back to earth.

Anyone ever see a button like this?

I see what you mean.. HEART BEAT SKIPPER!! HH

Nice button.very interesting for sure.

Wow! I hunt very close to my house and when I find something unique or valuable I scoot back home. I would have been on my way back home as soon as that came out of the ground! Definitely a heart stopper!

That one would have had me looking real hard at it too! Whenever I dig one of those big old buttons I'm hoping for a GW but most of the time it's just some kind of design like yours....

Is that a floral matif? I thought this one was a gw too I had my fingers crossed until I cleaned it but it's still a nice button.

Yours is sweet dsinsc.

I can't really tell what it is R-D, I can see some gilt and some sort of floral arangement. It's the only

flat button I have ever found with a design that I can remember.

Any potential in cleaning it or would it lose any detail? It looks like a real nice button.
