"I was swanging at the Church!"

Here's a couple of unusual finds from the last couple of days.

I figured out the easiest way to absolutely destroy a button; finding it yesterday at a local church built in the early 1890s.
The button was eatten by the garbage disposal as I was cleaning other items and I failed to notice its loss until later. Bummer!

The little pistol key ring and religious cross was also found nearby.

I don't know what the tin could have been used for but I found two of them at a local school.

That last picture is an insulation fastening plate. We use them to fasten insulation boards down in commercial roofing. If you look close it might say firestone, carlisle or some other roofing product company name on it.

Good morning Guys & Gals!
Of late the really good finds have been sparse! I apologize for the display of mostly junkers but it was fun all the same. I just don't smile quite as wide not seeing silver or gold "in the hole!"

GRB, I can relate to your story about how you ruined your button. I can't tell you how many times I've dropped a silver dime down the kitchen sink while cleaning it. However, I always know when it drops in, and have never turned on the disposal, thank God.

you can buy a screen at lowes or home depot for your drain it costs 3 bucks or so. I use on on mine when I wash my stuff off

Hey, I've got a jam up good screen; the type that expands covering most of the sink area. I just failed to use it. A dumber's mistake; one I won't make again. Thank God the button doesn't appear to be that old.
