I will find a gold coin this year

I've been hunting almost a half century and
that is one thing that has eluded me the
whole time.

So.....I'm setting my "bar". I *WILL* find
a gold coin! THIS YEAR!

I know I will! For, at worst, if I don't have
one by the end of this year.....

I will take all my clad and go "FIND" one at
a local yard sale!

Anyway, back to today. Such a beautiful pre-Spring
day! I went for a long walk at a favorite clad-farm.

Then, OTWBTTC.....



This machine never ceases to amaze me!
I couldn't even see this thing up close
and personal!



Look at how FRAGILE that thing looks!



Of course, Fishy is enjoying all the new toys.



And the Blingster seems taken by this wisp of a ring.



And I believe he has very good reason.
By the way, the lil stones? They are all mounted
with an opening behind each one! There is a
*LOT* of work in this piece!

They are certainly out there waiting to be found!!!! The $20 is one of my buddies from about 3 years ago while we were in Nevada.62-S was in great shape except for the shovel to the front of her face.

Mine was a BFO too......a Treasure Probe IV. We've come a long way since those days!

They are still out there. I started looking for stuff in the dirt in 1963 (gasp) when I was a tadpole and didn't find my first gold anything until 2011. That was the gold guinea from the Faithful Steward wreck off the Delaware Coast. (Its posted here under "the sea gave back its treasure today." Then nothing until 2015 and the flood gates opened for gold rings. 2nd gold coin was from May 2016 and the last one from last summer 2017. Last gold ring was last week. You never know. It was several centuries from when I started till I got the first one. Never give up. Most of the gold has come from beaches. Land gold is still scarce for me.
