I'd like to Welcome myself to TreasureNet! "Welcome!" Thank you.

Hello All!

I'm the newest member here... unless while typing this someone takes that from me. I better make this fast...
Anyway, I've been stalking the forums for a while here, letting the treasure bug fester within me for quite some time. I decided it was time to come out of the treasure closet and buy my first detector. My budget wasn't much as I'm a poor college student at the moment... so I went for the Garrett Ace 250. Got it brand new on eBay for 1 buck (211 bucks shipping...not really but don't you love that game?)!
Anyway, thought I'd set up an account here, and come welcome myself. I'm excited to learn the skill and go out there and take some of that treasure you all are looking for. Sorry... I know deep down you all are a little upset when you see a new detector out there in the grass... but you started somewhere too!
Let me know any tips for beginners if you have any, and I'll be bugging you soon!

Welcome. Im fairly new my self to both detecting and the site. I also bought the Ace 250. Can't wait for the ups man to get it to me so I can start hunting. Good luck with your hunting as well
