It's a piece of lead, white from age.

I'm Sorry... Its actually lead. It was found in Woodstock Ga. about 15 miles from the battle site at Kennesaw Mnt. north of Atlanta. The area had a miniature gold rush in the 1830s and 1840s and also the trail of tears began nearby around the same time. I have found game pieces carved from civil war mini balls but never anything like this. Any ideas?
