Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think you have Quartz with MnO staining.

If you have HCL (hydrochloric acid, sold as muriatic acid) you can put a drop on and see if chlorine gas is produced. Please be careful though do it in a well ventilated area, chlorine is toxic.
MnO + HCL(aq) =MnCl2 - Cl2 - H2O
MnO + HCL(aq) =MnCl2 - Cl2 - H2O
