if every body else jumped off a Bridge, would you ?

why did you necro-post to a 5 year old thread?!

I get asked this a lot,so let me ask you one.Why does it bother you if I post to an old thread?I read all the threads in hopes of learning something, not having reached the point of knowing everything there is to know.If I see something I find interesting and feel like responding I do it.Simply because I want to.Besides,I,m real bad at math.Jim.

How high is the bridge?
Is there a river under the bridge?
Is the water deep and slow moving?

Truth be known, everybody else didn't jump off the bridge....................I threw them off it.

I don't understand why I'd be lonely. For everyone in the world to take that bridge it would take many lifetimes and the bodies that built up would make the jump nonlethal long before anyone would expect me to jump. I know one thing, it would thin the world of many morons. They can be my guest and jump, but I'll not jump.

If every body else jumped off a Bridge, would you?

Much would depend on how the poor bugger in front of me in the
line does. If it's over 10' high, I won't be jumping off of anything
unless there's a gun to my head. In fact, I don't even like being on
a bridge, especially if I'm looking down.

I do believe however, that the question is more of an allegorical reference
to not following the crowd.

That said, if you wish to jump off a bridge..go ahead. I'll even hold
your beer for you...

No, because I am no Lemming....

I did a lot of bridge jumping and diving in my "young and stupid" days as I call them, highest I dove was 45 foot. Dove and jumped off most bridges in Tampa, Florida area and cliff dove in Colorado and few other places in the west. I quit high diving when I almost landed on my back on a dive that went wrong.

I did it a few times on a family fishing trip to Canada. My Dad thought it would be best if we had life vests on. About ripped my arms and head off! Not sure how high it was, it felt like a 100ft cliff, but I was young and for all I know now....it could have been 12feet.

Dont get headaches often, used to get migraines but not any longer.

Dumbest question ever , If your trying to make a Point !

the only right answer is

"Yes ! Absolutely !"
"I'll follow right behind the last one !"

because if you say no ! you will be the only one here for the rest of your life.
Pretty Boring if you ask me. Not only that.
If if "every body else" jumped off a Bridge,
you must have been the only one not to get the Memo
that it was the smart thing to do.
not everybody but you can be wrong

It just depends on what is chasing me!

Depends on he heights of the bridge and what is chasing me.

The answer for me would be a yes...

As a rebellious teenager... i jumped from many a bridge around here after they did it first... so... yep.

But then i grew up.

Took awhile.

Of course I’d jump off the bridge. People don’t jump off bridges for no reason. If everyone is jumping off, there must be a good reason. It must be an urgent reason too, and I don’t want to wait around to find out what the urgent reason is.
