The Peking 4-Masted Barque Sails Cape Horn 1929 - narrated by original crewman with ALL ORIGINAL footage from the 1929 crossing!
No engines, no electricity, nothing but wind and man power. The last of the great sailing Windjammers!


Built in 1911 in Hamburg, given to Italy as reparations for WWI, sold back to Germany then to England. She is now a museum ship in New York City but is slated soon to return to Hamburg.

​Excellent, Currently the PEKING is being stored in Staten Island, waiting for the Spring. Than will be put on a container vessel and shipped to Germany, this amounts to a very nice gift, as we received nothing in exchange.
