If you won a $25k Vacation to one location, Where would you Go & Why?

I would seriously appreciate some input and ideas for a week trip to one location.
My wife prefers a beach location which is just fine by me and my MD.

It would be New Zeland for me. Never been there & would hate the flight but all the pic's. I've ever seen are amazing. To metal detect it would be Hong Kong. A member used to post here a few years ago and it was amazing how much they got at the beaches. Good luck.

If you plan to vacation at a salt water beach, think about using some of that $25K and get a better detector for that venue.

I thought about adding more equipment, but my wife and I took a trip to the Bahamas & Cozumel in March and I was concerned with all I read, but I had great success with my current gear.

That was my 1st question after winning it. Most of the $25k vacation can only be used for a vacation only, but they do give us $1500 spending money right before we leave.

I'd go somewhere in Europe...….Norway, Switzerland, Poland, Netherlands, just to name a few possibilities. I'd stay away from South America and any third world countries.

I havent been on a vacation in over 10 years 2 Daughters and now College I wish some day I would be able to think about that. Have fun and good luck beach hunting also. I did go to Hilton Head Island SC when I was a Kid thats a great place. Tommy

Well, since there was no cash option and we have to use the voucher for a vacation, I was really hoping for a South Pacific Island journey maybe near where my Dad Spent WWII in the Pacific,
but my wife would rather hit the Caribbean because of less travel cost and more funds allocated toward fun excursions (which might mean less detecting time for me).
You know the saying...Happy wife happy life...
