I'm Hooked! Finally, Some Small Silver For The New Guy!!!

New guy here...

I recently borrowed a machine and joined a friend to do a little MD'ing.

We spent two hours in a farmers field and I came up with two coins in the same hole!

A 1935 Buffalo and a 1930 Wheatie...

That's all it took for me to purchase a new Minelab X-50 this last Friday.

I've been swingin' every single day since then

I found an 1884 IH, an old button and a old harmonica over the weekend!

Then I decided to hit up a local school for some clad and practice...

Boy am I glad I did!!!

I found my first silver coins

A 1942 Merc and a 1946 Rosie, both in the same hole!

Came across another Wheatie (1937) today.

Not to mention quite a bit of clad along the way as well

11-Quarters
7-Nickels
12-Pennies
12-Dimes

I couldn't have asked for a better last few days learning to use my machine!

Hello NB. Really nice finds so early in your md addiction. I have some bad news however about your addiction . It is possible even if you stop mding ,you can be reinfected as I was after stopping for about 8 years. I was bitten by the md bug 2 years ago and am add. again. I pasted 3000 coins this year 2 weeks ago and am on my way to 6000+ unless
I get help. I have found some relief however by swinging my right arm back and forth with my metal detector in hand while slowly walking forward. Am looking forward to many more post from you as it sound as if you are toast to the compulsion. Welcome and good luck
