Great hunt. Wd.

Great hunt! Great looking Barber, and it must feel good to break the 17th century ice.

Yep! And some neat relics too!

Cool Buttons, does one have some writing on it?

Thanks. Yeah, good question. At first I thought yes for that dandy on the left but I think it's just some random crud attached.

Congratulations.

Way to go Mr. Digger! Those are some awesome finds. Getting into the 1700's....a rare and beautiful thing. Getting into the 1600's...something to dream about! Congratulations!!!

Incredible digs!! Congratulations on joining the 1600's club...

Southwest Floridians are forbidden from dreaming of such a club.

Awesome, awesome! Congrats on the William and Mary half Penny! What a find that is, I like the rest your finds also. Congrats. HH

Definitely an old copper there! And things can happen in a weird way and did for me as my first military button happen to be an incredibly rare Rev War one. And on top of that it was about 50 paces out my back door. That was in 1999 and I've dug a lot since, but what I haven't found is many British 1600s coppers. Very few in fact... 3 I think.

That William and Mary halfpenny is in very decent shape considering its age!

Congrats on the early copper...anything can come out of that site!

Awesome assortment you have unearthed there.I have not reached any where near that far back, my oldest is a 1787 Vermont penny.

I'm into the 1600's !!!!!!

Wow, 17th century coppers are a tough find on this side of the pond. I've only found three and they were William the 3rds and a James 2nd. Congrats on a very difficult century to break into on our side of the pond

Awesome you definitely have a great site. Those are some beautiful digs.

Congrats on your sweet digs! :icon_thumright:

From one digger to another you dug some great finds. Congrats on joining the 1600s club. Heck I'd be happy with a 1799. I like the red background and the angle of the light in your pics. Are you a photographer? That Anheuser Busch match safe is awesome and so are the coins pictured.

Thanks LD. No...I'm not a photographer, but thanks for the compliment. I just use a digital camera that has a good macro and angle the light on my work bench in tight. Nothing fancy on the background...just construction paper. I change the color each year. Yeah that A-B match safe is cool. It has a patent date of 1897 on it...who knew?
