really dishonorable of MMAC, posting about mining groups that have stepped up and have been in the fight
whether you like them or not, its not right to air this publicly.
American Mining Rights Association (AMRA), the Western Mining Association (WMA) , Miners Assembled and the independent miningdistrict dot com
posting that these groups have wronged you online is defamation and hurts the mining community, please cease, it really shows your character...

they also have some control of PLP and doing the same thing, posting in public, instead of man up and work things out.

they're bashing your buddies at WMA John....they ask for money and inform on their lack of direction and show their ineptitude with every newsletter.

At least those groups are telling individual claim owners that it is up to them to form districts. and not that some lame Corp. like MMAC is the only way.
Once people get what MMAC is about and where they are coming from they tend to run away as they should. The propaganda coming from them and the
"new" half of plp is ridiculous.

It's amazing. For a few years plp who always supported MMAC. Had the support of all these clubs and groups and orgs. AMRA WMA MINERS ASSEMBLED GPPA and many others all supported plp and mmac. Now over the last year these groups support and loyalties have changed. For reasons I don't know and don't really care. All I know is that these groups. ALL OF THEM. HAVEN'T DONE SQUAT FOR THE MINING COMMUNITY. With the exception of fundraise them to death and further divide the mining community.. next year these groups will have some new drama still need your donations and thier accomplishment will still amount to zero..

I guess "United we stand and divided we fall" comes into play here and it looks like this will eventually be our out outcome ..... Itll take most of us to stop this trend and that don't look like its going to happen anytime soon to me!

the problem is that there are quite a few people connected in the community and working on spreading info. and keeping as many people aware as possible. MMaC seems to be preying on that just like plp. Makes sense that the Keenes got out considering the effort they have put in legally.
There are also too many cranky old dudes who seem to relish in the fact that there out people on "our side" screwing everything up.

My Tnet New Years Resolution.. I will take a year off from expressing my criticism towards all groups . I hope that 2017 is different. But i ain't gonna hold my breath. I suspect people are tired of hearing it. I'm tired of saying it.

Just for clarity on your last half of this sentence, there is no regulation or law against fundraisers being paid commission. Many smaller non profits (primarily ones that can't afford salaried fundraising staff) rely on commissioned fundraisers to help them meet their annual fundraising goals. Your link only applies to people who have joined that particular PRIVATE industry association. Those that aren't members have no obligation to follow their code of ethics.

Any one have the whole story of whats going on here with PLP ? I would like to hear the whole story. I just can't see pat, Wetherby and Walts at odds with each others over PLP.
