i looked into the cost of the trip including airfare, hotel, car rental and admission fee and i dont think im gonna be able to swing it. im a bit dissapointed because this really looks like a lot of fun. perhaps some other time though. good luck to everyone who is involved, i cant wait to see what you all find!

so far. Mc Donalds, WWATS , and Exploring History's Treasures... are sponsoring the hunt.

Check is in the mailbox for pickup tomorrow(25.00).Hope the biopsies they're taking tomorrow won't affect my attending.BTW,Sedalia is only 30 mi from Truman Resorvoir and the Lake of the Ozarks for you bass fishermen and Sedalia is not that far north of Branson in case any of you want to plan on taking in some of the entertainment during your trip and Sedalia is only 40 mi from the casino boat at Booneville.Sedalia is 1 1/2 hr from KC.

Hey JD, can we bring relic shovels or are we limited to hand type digging tools ? By relic shovel, I don't mean a back hoe...just a relic shark shovel so I don't have to get on my knees so much.

Relic shovels are fine, its not hut digging like in Va. hehe but I always use a shovel! just fill in the holes or you'll have an 82 year iold man chasing you down with his 4X4 GATOR!!! hehe lol
