You know, this is a fantastic idea! Too bad its way out of my current budget to try to get up there. I want to thank JD for getting it together for everyone though!

We should do these all over. East Coast, West Coast, Treasure Coast, and the No-Coast (midwest ). That way everyone of the members could make it to at least one of them!

J.D., I'm with ericwt and others --- when do we get our info? I've researched until I'm blue in the face and can't find info on any area in Missouri like you describe. Lots of battle sites and prison sites, but would love to know more about the hunt area. And does the 75 participants include the non-diggers? If so, we're almost there! Thanks, JD!!

I have it narrowed down to four camps. Assuming I am in the right general area.

So basically I have no clue. It would be nice to know the area we are going to so I can research the area.

But suprises are nice too.

The Motels rooms in that town are filling up fast, so make sure get them booked now!! thanks for the info River Rat!! LOL LOL I am gonna give out the location of the hunt 1 week from the hunt date, we have to keep it a secret because people will just show up there its happended to hunts before... I appreciate the excitement I'm excited too, please if your goona try to figure it out send messages amongst yourselves and dont post anything here please. Just research the Sedalia area there lots of history there. hh jd

This site will help you if you have not made your reservations yet. I could be wrong, but seems like the lady I spoke with at the BW talked as if there were only 2 rooms left. I understand there are conferences & reunions being held that same weekend. Better grab whatever rooms are available ASAP.
