"Imprint" or stamp left by a coin - like a mold

Anyone seen this kind of thing?

I remove a plug, and I don't see the coin, but I see the IMPRINT left by the
coin where the plug broke off. Usually the coin is left in the hole.

Here the coin rolled out (a penny) as I flipped the plug over.
Seeing the impression, I know that I have a coin and not a bottle cap or
pull tab.

That is weird! But, this is weirder! lol Impression of dime in lead! and no coin to be found lol
