Found this at a park I've hit a few times. I normally only find clad and when I'm lucky jewelry nothing old. I probably wouldn't have posted this if I didn't check it out with the loop. Definitely says cod also found this IH. First silver coin for the year and first 1800s on the year.

Holey mackerel , it does spell cod ... eventually some lucky digger will find the elusive and valuable 42/41 over strike for this merc $$$ anyway good day and
