I have this (salt-gazed?) piece of studio pottery and I was wondering if anyone could help me identify the mark. I've been on a few studio pottery mark databases but can't seem to find this one. Many thanks.

Unfortunately, your second pic isn't clear Rebecca and I cannot make out the last letter of the cypher. :icon_scratch:
If you would be so kind as to clarify this letter for us, maybe then we can assist you in some research.

This is going to be along the lines of...

finding a needle in a haystack.

I say this not to be a smart arse... this is reality concerning pottery of this nature.

Millions of this type of item exist... and pottery marks ARE a pain if not a desired well known / well documented maker.

Everyone who got the "I want to make pottery" bug and went out and bought materials and a kiln made these.

Good luck.

Oh... the mark does look... um... like a ummmmm "somebody" or "something" mark... but again this is a long crawl to a possible solve UNLESS someone is familiar and it is a known maker.

PS...might be a "D" in second mark.
