INCREDIBLE day at the creek

[diggyboy]

I went detecting with my brother Metaldetecta and my friend Wolves_24 at a local creek today. We weren't expecting too much, but we decided it was worth a shot. First signal I dug up an old key, and knew it was going to be a pretty good spot. Wolves_24 was just wading through the creek and spotted a ring right on top of the sand! It turned out to be silver. My next signal was a copper ring, so I knew we were on to something good. After about a half hour of searching about a 100 ft by 20 ft section of the creek, me and my brother found 6 rings, 1 copper, 1 stainless steel, 2 silver, 1 titanium, and 1 titanium and silver. Wolves_24 scored 3 silver rings. By the end of the hunt we scored many old relics, the 9 rings, and tons of clad. It was one of my best hunts in a while. Thanks for looking and HH!

Wow, lots of rings - Good work! You would think there would be a gold ring in that spot there somewhere or maybe you just found where the poor folks went swimming lol. Congrats Nuggy

We tried most of the gold tones but I guess we missed a few. There were a few wedding bands so I would also think there has to be gold.

Wow! Sounds like one of the most fun hunts ever! The gold's probably there, it's just teasing you by being elusive. Andi

Thanks! I really do enjoy the relics. Probably even more than the rings! My friend found a beautiful rosette, which I think is the best find of the hunt.
