Well, it finally happened-the grass is getting too high to hunt in our best sites. My finds from the U.S. Picket Camp yesterday are shown but the grass is getting high there. We added relics from our recent hunts to our site boxes. The Tennessee Trio certainly can’t complain about the late fall, winter, & early spring hunting as it has been our best 6 months CW relic hunting ever. Three U.S. sites contributed to 883 of the 1,000+ CW relics we dug since last Dec. 6:
Williams Cleaner Camp 495 relics 1 plate
Virgin Picket Camp 225 relics
Picket Post 163 relics 1 plate
We dug numerous eagle buttons and carved bullets. It was all great fun and 10 display boxes were filled from these 3 sites as shown. Except for a few hunts after hay is cut and pastures are clipped, we impatiently await corn, winter wheat, & bean harvest in the fall. As usual, we really enjoyed our hunts with tenn. digger (Donnie) the past 6 months and hope to repeat that this fall. He & Julia are the only ones who can keep Dman in line-LOL.
Lastly, our hunts from the 3 sites above will be published in American Digger, Western & Eastern Treasures, & North South Trader’s Civil War magazines respectively during 2014. We hope you enjoyed our videos. HH, from Doug, Josh, & Quindy.
My 2014 CW relics to date =366

Hats off to the Tenn Trio!!!! :occasion14: What an outstanding haul of CW recoveries. Those displays are beautiful.
For a bunch of goat farmers from Tenn. you three can't be beat. Thanks for the post and video. There is a fine line between that tune and the dueling banjos. :laughing7:
Looking forward to seeing your stories in the upcoming issues. I'm coming to hunt with you three clowns this fall if I have to walk there, so be prepared!

Great Work Tenn Trio!!
That's A lot of relics for 6 months & a great assortment at that.

I also like to keep my relics sorted by site (Found).

With very few large Patches of Relics left In the N Metro Atl area [ that I know of ].
I have found that I have to use many small Display cases for sites that produce maybe 1 ,2 or 3+ Relics ( usually Bullets) if lucky , ill likely have a Custom Case made by a friend that' sectioned off to hold 1,2,,3 or 4 relics with sections for 10 bullets , or buttons etc, with room for room with labels , for location. Sorry Kinda off subject.
I really like your Sig, Line about finding CW relics Consistently , as it is hard to do these days.
Thanks for the last 6 months of Videos & pics & look forward to more in the future.
God Bless

:notworthy:Congrats to the Trio on an incredible milestone. What can you do to top that now? You should have plenty of time to seed some fields with pull tabs and Lincoln's for MM, Mr. Q.:tongue3:

Great job guys!! I know you hate to see a good thing come to an end, but hopefully you can pick up where you left off in the fall and start working on the 2nd thousand.

Like the others said, great job. I happen to know for a fact that you guys are going back to a few old places that have been hunted years ago and just killing it! I also know that some of the relics came from virgin ground also. I would have never believed all the relics that came out of the "Cleaner camp". You guys keep doing what you do and maybe I can get back up your way soon. I also love the Foggy Mountain Breakdown!!!
