Two bottles from the day's dig:

Ed Pinaud.webpHendricks Dairies.webp

A Hendricks Dairies (Perkasie, PA) pint jar, and an Ed Pinaud hair tonic bottle.

And three insulators, which I was kinda surprised to find, since we haven't seen any until today:

Supposedly that Hemingray style (CD 185) in the middle is pretty rare. The others are a Brookfield and a Whitall Tatum #4. The Hemingray dates from 1894 - 1912, the Brookfield could date between 1864 - 1921, and the Whitall Tatum #4 (CD 162) dates from 1922 - 1938.

I'll replace these pics with natural light pics later this week when the rain goes away, if y'all want.

dig?...how, what? where.....insulators?

Yeah, dig... That same creekside dump I've been pulling bottles out of with scotk9 for the past 3 months or so. I went digging there again today, this is what I got.....

Insulator, n. 1. device which holds in heat. 2. device that restricts electrical conductivity. 3. a glass or porcelain item found at the top of utility poles that extend the range of electrical wires without burning the pole down.

Hey cti4sw,

I really like that Hemingray # 95. First of those I've seen.

I also like that stovepipe finish on the Hendricks Dairy milk. The Perkasie Historical Society just had a program on Hendricks. You might give them a holler to hear all about it.

Well, I'd take offers on any of these. Just LMK.
