I consider it a donation and pocket it same as the coinstar machine haha.

Its like having 10 more coinstar machines now but theres money almost every time. I love those self check out machines!

went out to the local store on an errand last night and found this in the coinstar on the way out mixed in with a couple of foreign coins, View attachment 2065379 couldn't believe my eyes thoThught it was another foreign coin but saw the eagle and wow! some people have no clue or respect for history, pre civil war coin.???
That is awesome! I think this is the first Flying Eagle I've seen reported in the Coinstar forum. I too would have doubted my senses.

I’d love to know the story leading up to it going into the machine. Sometimes I wonder about dementia. Possibly forget the value and run it through with regular coins? That would be sad.

I don't think people look at the change they throw in the coin machines. We've gotten tons of Euros, other foreign coins, and some contemporary quarters, dimes, nickels.
