Nice tractor photograph Oregon Viking - for some reason it gives me a warm feeling. Thanks for sharing...

Well, since we're guessing..... 1948 Farmall International Harvester Super A

Nice photos. Old tractors are loved more than old vehicles around here. We've got our eye out for a yard ornament.

Thanks for sharing.

I learned how to drive a stick on a tractor. I was probably 13 years old and I felt like I was flying when I put that Ford 8N into high gear and pulled the throttle lever all the way down.

Offset IH Cub. Set up offset for cultivating so you can see what you’re doing...in fact you can see the mid-mount cultivator on it in the pic.

Yep, Thats the IH Cub. My father in law is a collector of old IH tractors that body was offset to view the field called cultivision.
I see them modified in Indiana as mowers mostly.

As Wrightdigger said, they did have a Super A which was a more sophisticated tractor in some ways and a touch bigger but it’s very hard to judge size due to the wheel extensions which must have been used for hillside work. At any rate, great pic and a very cool old tractor!

Nice! Looks like it is still in restorable condition.

Did you dig that up??? If so that is way tougher than Kurios1's bike :laughing7:

Farmall A.
Cubs grills styles, wheels, headlight locations are different. Front bolster below radiator looks bigger on a Cub ,and has a square channel for the front tool bar.
Photo shows a non stock muffler ,but way to big for a Cub. I can run my Cub straight pipe with little difference.
The dome shaped air intake cap is father back on this A than a Cub.
A rear end view is a fast way to spot the belt pully on an A's position.

An A is bigger ,but not easy to make a call on from a distance without another known tractor for size reference.... A B is quite the same as an A ,but does not have the offset for cultivision. ( Always wedge the front axle each side on an off set when pulling a rear wheel on A's and Cubs ,they tip!)

Here"s my 1948 Cub to compare..
