Invited to meet the mayor!

I visited the SLQ house in town and was SHOCKED to see it had been torn down! There were two huge dump trucks and a large digger in the front yard.
I contacted MM, but he couldn't make it over (he was BBQing ribs). At this point it was a demo site, so I went crazy and dug with a mini maddock. As I was cheerfully chopping away at the front yard, an older couple walked by and we chatted.

They invited me to detect their (two) yards, (asking how much I charge) no less . Then surprised me by inviting me to meet the mayor of our town! I found a silver dime and some other relicky things. A fun metal detecting experience!

The digger machine was parked on the marble spot, but I still managed to find another one!

It's amazing how fast our society is today. You blink and the house is torn down and a bank stands! That's what happen to me. Two old houses torn down and a bank up. At least you got some detecting in. Not me....I snoozed and loosed.
