Man was hot today, not LA by no means, but hot just the same.

Anyway this is the first target I dug, save for a couple of lead lumps. Didn't look familiar in any way, that's cool, I love the different.

Maybe it is one of those condor tokens, at this point I admit to having no idea, but I like finding the different.

The other two are no problem, an 1880 NFLD and a large 1PT of NS. But this other does not seem to be in my token books. IP, I'm sure this is an easy one for you as at least there is enough left to ID.

Thanks for any help if you can.

Rick

Its not a token, I think, it's a medallion. Looks to be commemorating the marriage of the Prince of Wales.

you could be right my friend, Meallion would explaine a lot. It' is stil a different find ...so I like it.

I'm with Cru....medallion

At least it is different. , and that's what it is all about some days, finding something you haven't before or something you may ever again!
A lot of the fun is researching what you've discovered and learning something new along the way

Thinking hamburger or medallion.... yeah go with medallion.

That's a darn cool find right there Rick. I wounder what the age of it is?

I found an image of just one side which commemorates the marriage of the Prince of Wales and Princess Alexandra of Denmark, 1865 and I think you can see this date on yours.

TMDC: Medallions

Looked better before the cleaning. Perhaps dry brush and use oil from fingers lightly over the high points in the design rather than using water to clean.

Best Wishes,

Buck

has NOT been cleaned.

edit.

First pic. is a frame from the outdoor video. Last pics. are from inside the house, it's paper thin, so I know cleaning it will just make it worse.

Neat find Rick. You seem to get quite a variety of coins, tokens, and medallions up there.
