Ironic Jewelry Find

[Guadalcanal]

This was a pretty ironic find after digging clad pennies and dimes. I got a signal on my Equinox 600 that looked like it was going to be my sixth dime of the day. To my surprise, I pulled out an earring… made from a 1980 penny. I found the other (1977) only a foot away. It’s very hard to discern many details of the pickings except near the rim. These are probably the most interesting Lincoln cents I have dug!
