Hello my name is Mr. Zinn.
Just recently I aquiered an item that I can not identify.
I have asked around amongst my family an friends, an more then 75% of them said that it could possibly be an Indian artifact. Possibly an ancient Indian tool.
It would be very much appreciated if anyone could help me with identifying this item.
Thank you an God bless

Hi Mr. Zinn,

This is just my opinion, you are free to disagree with it as I am not an expert. Only telling you what I see.

It is highly unlikely, based on what I see, that this is anything man-made. That means I see no evidence that it was created by Native Americans or any other group, and that I do not believe that it is a tool.

I do however believe that you may have a rock that contains fossils of some sort. The pictures are not of sufficient quality for me to say for certain. But it could be anything from worm traces to crinoid parts to other marine critters. Otherwise, it could possibly be a geological feature of sorts. Again, better pictures could help.

Just my opinion. Either way I hope you have a million dollar find -- it's what I hope for everyone.

Blue coral

Used in the 70s as silver jewelry stones.

My grandmother was a silver smith in the
60-70 s making custom jewelry. You can
find stones like these in many colors the
edges of coral wear or weather or tumbled
To that texture.
