It's possible for a rock this size to be a meteorite. Some of the largest ones wouldn't fit in the bed of a pick up truck and weigh tons.

Tektites are glass type rocks that form around large meteorites that have impacted the ground. The ground metamorphisis by the heat and impact and is ejected into the air forming round and teardrop shapes. These only form in certain parts of the world from only certain meteroite falls. A lot come from China.

If it means anything...if I remember correctly, it's a reddish rock. They have it sitting next to their Native American Grinding stones or whatever they are used for. And it is the largest.
