Is my bank telling me something?

Searched six boxes this past week and found nothing but a bunch of 2009 coins. All in one box.
Then I came across this.

Could the bank be telling something?...:(

I am not sure if luck has faded or its time to switch banks...:)

Wait, you found a solid box of 2009 nickels? Some speculators are paying $$$ for those if uncirculated.

Sorry my Lad. I was searching halves and found a total of sixteen 2009 halves in the first box. I did keep them as I do all the late date mint coins for the future collectors, but the "colon" thing just kinda felt weird..:) Kind of like "we are tired of your wasting our time". :o

I have a 2 colones (at least sounds better than colon :laughing9:) I believe if it is 1954 (has edge lettering), it can be worth about a dollar. Otherwise, less.

It takes patients. I didn't have my first silver of 2012 in a box of halves until today. That is two boxes a week for 10 weeks. So box 21 was lucky. Keep at it and good luck!

Now this thread is even more creepy. :o First, colon and then patients. :D

"Colón" means Columbus in Spanish, currency named after Christopher Columbus
