My Best - For now

Hello All, I'm only a few years into this hobby, no regrets, and after each cool find I felt it would never be topped. Well, I keep topping and last week I came across the one of my most admired coins; that I felt only the very experienced, cool, hard core detectorists find. As you know, doing something like this make you even more motivated to reserach, dig, and then top the last find. I just have to get retired, so I can fill up my lonely coin cigar boxes.

.9027 fine sliver. 28mm
The 'odd' coin in that series is also dated 1784; the DEI GRATIA is spelled DEI GRTIA.

You did well. I've dug several of those over the years and most of mine the date was rubbed off. I think that my oldest one is from 1787. They sure can make your day!

Assayer would of been the Mexico mint being a F.F?

Congratulations of the great looking silver.
Never have I dug a 2R, as these silvers are quite rare in my parts.
Only a half and 1R so far have been dug.

I was able to squeeze an hour of detecting on the new permission last night and had to go to the “What is it” forum for help. My mysterious Relic was identified in minutes. Love this site!
