I don't think it's copper. I cleaned it with a brush and the color that comes through is more a gold color than copper but I know it's not gold.

Breezie, it's 2 1/4" tall but it's broken off at the bottom; I don't know if that's where it was attached to something else or what.


Shanegalang, it's to heavy for a keychain and it has the pin on the back side that makes me think it had another side to it or was made onto something else.

Looks a LOT like a trivet foot, sticking up from it - how tall is that part? could it be brass?

It's 2 1/4" tall, however it is broken off on the bottom, maybe where it was attached to something.

I meant the cone-like "foot" sticking out from it. My trivet feet vary, but are about 1/2 inch tall.
